The first CVAS low cost vaccination clinic held this last Saturday - TopicsExpress

The first CVAS low cost vaccination clinic held this last Saturday at the Country Store was an absolute HUGh success thanks to the participation of the many, many cat and dog owners of Stevens County, 46 animals received vaccinations. The line was long but animals and owners alike were so patient that all went smoothly. We had every dog from the littlest Chihuahua to the largest Mastiff and every size in between with cats and kittens happily in their carriers. Vaccinations are so important because this is the first step we all can take to assure that our pets are well protected against the various diseases that can cause such awful problems. I want to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Maggie and our volunteers for all they did to make this a success as this went well beyond the 2 hr. time frame we thought would be sufficient. We are also very grateful for the Country Store, formerly the Flour Mill feed store, for allowing us to use their facility to hold this event. This will not be the only Low Cost Vaccination Clinic as we are committed to making sure that all responsible pet owners regardless of their economic situation have the opportunity to make sure their pets get vaccinated. Thank you all for your support.............Pat
