The first batch, comprising of of the 43 nurses, who had been stranded in the war and violence hit Libya have arrived in Kochi on Tuesday. Reports suggest that all the nurses hailed from Kerala. These nurses had been stranded in the war torn country of Libya, as they were employed and associated in the various hospitals in Libya. The CEO of Non-Resident Keralite Affairs department (NoRKA) P. Sudeep said to the media that the nurses had reached Tunisia from Libya, from where they managed to reach Dubai to take the scheduled flight to Kochi.
