The first book of the series Song of ice and fire, Game of thrones, was written by George R. R. Martin in 1996. He planned for there to be seven titles in the series and is currently writing number six. After a huge response to the book, Martin, who is also a screenwriter, allowed for a mini series of the Game of thrones to be made. It is now the most illegally downloaded TV series. Martin’s epic descriptions of both land and people lent itself well to being made into a TV show. Which fantasy book would you like to be made into a movie or show?
