The first challenge of the 3 Challenges in 3 Months went fantastically well today. Thank you so much to Lisa Oddy and Gini Allison who spent 8 hours climbing Scafell via the corridor route in Cumbria today - Englands highest mountain. All to raise money for our rescue and Scruples - what lucky staffies and whippets there are who will benefit from Gini and Lisas efforts. And they had a 4 hour round trip just to get there and back. It was so nice to meet them and Cassie was on hand to give staffie kisses - they so deserved a drink after that!!!! There are some amazing photos to follow of their hike. Next they are taking on the gruelling Lakes 24 hour challenge - walking, climbing, abseiling, cycling and canoeing 71km across Cumbria. Sounds a doddle, doesnt it ...... NOT ????
