The first day of the new year without Christian left me feeling immeasurably sad.....I wore the feeling of missing him like a heavy winter coat all day long. And, now the second day of the new year, Im attending the funeral of my cousin Andy who also died - wayyyyy too soon- at 39. I want my new year to hold brighter things then this.... Please pray for our family today as we say goodbye to another sweet soul who will be sorely missed by everyone. Concentrate on the blessing you have and try not to look too hard at what you dont. Above all else, remember that PEOPLE, people that love you and that you love are the most important elements in this world. Material things can be replaced (and we cant take them with us anyway)- its the people and the love and communication and support we share- the memories we make - that are THE most important. I thank God for the many blessings He has given me despite this storm Im still walking through. At least He hasnt left or forsaken me....
