The first minister of Scotland having been told by Westminster - TopicsExpress

The first minister of Scotland having been told by Westminster that an independent Scotland had more chance of retaining pound sterling than he had of milking Nessi replied “ the move would backfire spectacularly he added the three pro-union politicians (Westminster) were “guilty of bluff because what they say now and what they say the day after a yes vote are two entirely different things.” Continuing with his rant he informed “the days of Westminster politicians dictating to Scotland are over.” Mr Salmond should consider this. In the event Scotland becomes independent and becomes a new foreign country Westminster could not dictate to Scotland any more than they could dictate to Andorra. As to Westminster changing its mind after a yes vote comes in that is not worthy of consideration. What Salmond wants is a new foreign nation that has a mug associate that will keep its interest borrowing rates down with nothing in return and in the event the new nation goes bust he believes the mugs, will pick up the tab. If Salmond wants Independence then he should tell the Scottish electorate that it will have to stand on its own two feet the moment the yes vote has it. Emotive issues are not to be considered in respect of this farce. It would be better for all south of the border if Scotland left the Union because if any one believes Salmond would give up his rapacious demands from the tax payers of the triumvirate in the event of a no vote they are mistaken. bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-scotland-politics-26183687
