The first of two views of Kesgrave Drive, on the Pound Farm Estate, where I grew up. Before the mid 70s, top of Kesgrave was the corporation tip, and the road just ended in a fence to stop people getting onto the tip. Didnt stop us kids of course, we used to go and play and watch blokes fishing at Slaters Pit, to see if they could catch the monster pike we were all told lurked there. This is back in 1966, with me still in the pram, looking all blonde and curly.
