The first & only PROFESSIONAL TEACHER with over 39 years of experience in the field of all BRANCHES OF BALLROOM DANCING with remarkable over 34 YEARS OF TEACHING EXPERIENCE with Easy & Scientific training methods in Sri Lanka & Foreign Countries for Academic, Social, Amateur and Professional Standards and have trained over 25,000 persons since 1980 to date including at KDA, KDU & Ranaviru-Sevana etc. and choreographed and performed in over 300 Dance Exhibitions, Demonstrations and Formations on Standard Ballroom, Latin American, Disco, Line and Wheel-chair Dancing including first ever Television Demonstration telecasted in Sri Lanka in 1983 on ITN. In addition to the field of dancing, Dr. Hasitha has mastered many other areas of disciplines viz; Wellness [Fitness & Nutrition] Management, Business Management, TM, Social Psychology. By carrying out over 20 hands-on research based on the above areas has innovated new concepts and conducted many seminars/workshop and radio [SLBC] and television [SLRC] programs to uplift the study, sport, work and managerial competence & productivity of ministerial, public and private sector top and middle level managers, school and university staff and students, businessmen etc in association with the MINISTRY OF INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT OF SRI LANKA – NPS and NIBM since 1997.
