The first paragraph of Bishop Paul Francis Lanier status was the Church I spent my whole life trying to avoiding, always finding the reason not to attend. The second paragraph describes the incredible Church I now call home. A place where people are excited to gather. Where joyful fellowship is the normal. Where EVERY new person is welcomed with open arms or a handshake if that is what you prefer, however I love the hugs more. Where you can praise with arms wide open and feel the presence of the Supernatural or you can stand quietly and praise him with your eyes closed. A place where when the Choir sings, even the darkest, most void place of someones soul can feel GODs light and the Holy spirit. Where the children are taught to dance, all to praise Gods great Glory. A place where you are welcome to the alter at anytime to praise or to pray, and there will always be SOMEONE or most of the time MANY Someones that will pray with you. There is strength in this Church, there is PRAISE in this Church, there is most certainly WORSHIP in this Church, but most importantly there is LOVE IN THIS CHURCH. Honest to goodness genuine LOVE. Love for the masses, love for the individual, love for the family, and love for the children. This is my Sanctuary, This is MY CHURCH. Hope Community Church
