The first part with speakers is opened to both men and women but the Workshop sessions are closed to women only. which took place on Friday 29th August, 2014 by TNC Co-dinated by the Hope Mental Health Recovery Project Team. Women from across cultures will be invited to share their personal experiences, cultural traditions, customs and professional components of maintaining wellbeing. One of the highly specialized workshops themed ‘ Womb Wellness’ will include a review and exercises from the book, ‘Overcomming an Angry Vagina: Journey to Womb Wellness’ by Queen Afua a world –renowned Author and International Wellness Consultant, led by Yishebah Baht Gavriel, A member of staff with Cognitive Psychology skills and Lifestyle Wellbeing Coach. There will be a not-to-be-missed testimonial presentation by an ex Female Client now employed in the Mental Health field. The area of Faith and Mental Wellbeing is also a growing research area with scientists findings on the role of faith in wellness. Speaking to this topic will be ‘ The Rev. Gwen Denny of the New Testament Assembly and Successful Human Resource Consultant.’ How do women of different faiths achieve mental wellbeing? Muslim Women? Jewish Women? Christian Women? Women of no Faith? Women who have changed faiths? Women who have abandoned faith? Not to be missed! The most dynamic and challenging workshops that you may have ever attended on women’s health.
