The first picture shows The building that housed the Chevrolet franchise in Conde. It was operated by the McMillan Brothers. In the thirties Merle Longman and Bob Sondergard worked there. Later Merle took it over and ran an auto repair shop there. Later Mrs. Steffis and the Senior Center Group purchased the idle building and remodeled it into the building below. With the building of the Civic Center it was decided to move in with them as it would be financially beneficial for both of them. It was remodeled it into living quarters.
