The first reviews for Tractor Ted on the Big Screen at the Picturehouse Cinemas, Little Theatre Cinema Bath yesterday are in from our friends at Bath Mums! Tractor Ted - Movie Review Diggers and Dumpers! Youre 2½ yrs old. You’re a boy and you’re in love with Tractor Ted. So what better way to spend a wet and windy lunchtime, than watching the much anticipated premiere of Tractor Ted’s ‘Diggers and Dumpers’ at the Little Theatre Cinema, in Bath. From the minute our cheeky little green tractor rumbled onto the big screen, every boy (and a few little girls) became utterly transfixed for 40mins by skilful diggers moving heavy pallets, enormous dumper trucks shifting tonnes of rocks from a quarry (yes, there’s a controlled explosion to the delight of many) and a few more diggers with super long arms (!) widening a river bank to prevent future flooding in surrounding fields. The audience ‘oooohed’ and ‘ahhhed’ in all the right places. One child even made a dash down the aisle to get closer to the action. As my son wriggled on my lap to lean forward and cling to the back of the seat in front to get as close as he could, I knew Tractor Ted had created yet another movie classic. There’s more real life digger and dumper action squeezed into this film to satisfy the biggest Tractor Ted fan. Smiles all round. And when I asked my son what his favourite bit was, he answered ‘urm, the bit with the digger!’ Great job Tractor Ted, it really is amaaazing!
