The first thing we have to drum into the ears of the Yoruba is that it is not God that made Nigeria into one country, it is the greed of the British and their need to continue to exploit us that informed the amalgamation of the Southern and Northen Protectorates of the Niger Area. Judging from the memoirs of the key operatives of the British Colonial Government, it was an act the British knew was going to become the mess we are deceiving ourselves is a country today. It is even almost blasphemous to be ascribing such a selfish, exploitative, wicked, unconscionable, expansionist and totally ungodly act of criminality to God. In other words, no Yoruba man worthy of his heritage should feel funny about ridding himself of an unholy, in fact,almost evil alliance.
