The first thing we learn as training teachers is that the first seven to eight years of a child’s life are vital for how they function throughout the remainder of their life. Why? Studies show that the quality, and this includes quantity, of a child’s early experiences plays a significant role in their development of physical, social, emotional and intellectual skills.
