The first thing you should consider when choosing/creating a training programme is how many days a week you can train. Dont choose a program based on who uses/created it, or the results it promises. If it requires you to go to the gym more times than your current schedule allows then, even if you make it work for a short time, you will start to miss sessions. This then misses the point of the program, you beat yourself up thinking youre not determined enough and before you know it youre sitting in your pyjamas eating ice cream and watching Jeremy Kyle. Of course this is bullshit, you just didnt give yourself the best chance of succeeding in the first place and made it very difficult for yourself to be consistent. -Choose how many days you can train (4 is my current) -Choose how to split those workouts out. -Dont assign those workouts to days, just aim to get them done in the week. Do that shit consistently. Result = Progress. Its common sense, but thats not that common.
