The first time I came across this post my mind ran to Liberia because I know a lot of people who have change their tribal names to English names and refuse to speak their respective dialects in order for people to consider them Americo Liberian. honestly that doesnt make sense to me at all, because you are photo copying some one identity. Today the African American wish to be like you because they know that the language spoken by them and the names they are using are not theirs that is why a lot of them re-taken the African names. I want let those of you who are ashamed of your tribal and African identities that the biggest regret among the African American is that they have lost their true identities in a sense that they live in a society that force them to change their names and abandon their native languages. While you in Liberia due naivety you are abandoning your true identities. No matters how much English identity you take or try to use you, you are still Black African.
