The first time I needed cooking rice by myself was when I got my first job and was sent to live in Shimla. I had to cook rice in an open pot. My mother taught me that I need washing the rice and putting enough water in the pot and put the pot on gas for boiling. After rice had boiled for sometime, I needed taking out a spoon of rice. From this spoon, I need taking one grain of rice to see if it had boiled. This test was enough to know whether the rice in the pot had boiled or not. With so much experience behind me, I can cook rice very efficiently. However, when I do my work, I still do not know how much to test to affirm whether the solution will work or not. I keep testing and testing. Till the last moment, I am not sure whether the solution will work or not.
