The first time I saw The Dualers was about 12 years ago, busking at the bottom of Romford Market, surrounded by a huge crowd. I was drawn to that unmistakable and infectious ska beat, I wanted to skank my pants off, but Tyber and Si were rather good dancers... and it was daylight! I came away with their CD Vintage Versions 1, an album full of happiness and 2 incredible songs Soon You’ll Be Gone by the Blues Busters and Don’t Stay Out Late by Lord Creator. The Blues Busters consisted of Lloyd Campbell and Phillip James who were very successful in the 60s with their soulful harmonies, a result of performing with Sam Cooke during his tour of Jamaica. They also toured with Byron Lee’s band throughout the 60s and 70s releasing this wonderful R&B/Ska tune in 1965 https://youtube/watch?v=JaWx44tyDSg
