The first time a friend had a heart attack I was 19 years old. Amos was his name .. 41 years old a father of 3 children. I was jogging and he had been playing baseball. He felt nauscious and I decided to walk with him instead of continuing my jogging. He died in the ER at the Brampton Hospital that night. Another friend, my landlords supervisor one morning after finishing boating across Lake Ontario said the same thing to me. This time I tricked him into joining me for a short drive and drove him to the Mississauga Hospital. Ran inside to tell the nurses and they rushed to my car with a wheelchair. Lucky him .. he was in the hospital for a week before being released. Heart attacks are tricky if you dont know the signs. I know them cold. Just wish Amos was still here.
