The first time we met was during our days in the lecture halls (in different institutions though) through a student group- Akwa Ibom Students Platform, AKSP, initiated and led by Comrade Prince Enimobong Usoro, a CRUTECH Engineering student of Oruk Anam extraction. I still recall how d group in d first meeting that had his attendance, got fed with a couple of fresh and auspicious ideas... Courtesy of Samuel Ayara. But that aside, though d group later collapsed, due to a poorly laid foundation, and we both went separate ways, fate eventually brought us back together through another student pillar, an individual this time, precisely a former President of NANS, Comrade Ini Ememobong Essien, popularly known as Timmy. And since then, its been a friendship well groomed within d confines of cordiality, and bound to succeed against all odds. Aside being a bone man to me, like d niggers would prefer; Ayara has been a figure that has made remarkable positive impacts as far as unionism in the students context is concerned. Belonging to the popular Ougagraphers group popularly known to be the only front door to political success in the University of Calabar, Samuel Ayara, despite having made a choice of career in the basic medical sciences field of study, was actively involved in the political, social and activistic part of the students business. And for his personal record, he once led d Abak Students Worldwide, a position he used in setting d record of the best worldwide president ever in the history of the association. Perhaps, his success and excellent record gave way for him being anointed as the next to take the Akwa Ibom Northern (Ikot Ekene) Senatorial District slot for the guber position in 2031, after which he will be handing over to me. Whether you know him in person or not, for the mere fact that he is your future governor, my future predecessor, please join me in wishing Comrade Samuel Ayara a splendiferous, blissful, bursting, and d happiest birthday as he clocks +one today. May u live long to see your days in the Hilltop Mansion, and even live beyond to enjoy the ex-governors pension. Once again, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, IKPA UDO!!!
