The first two frames I ever shot of a train on Cajon Pass, December 1982. Two engine helper set - guess you can call it a train. I was on my way home via the scenic route after spending a few days between Christmas and New Years with my future wifes family in a rented cabin near Lake Arrowhead. I thought I remembered there was a railroad summit somewhere in the area. We had last passed through there in 1964, if I recall correctly, with a station wagon full of parents and siblings after a snow trip to Big Bear.
