The first two pics are Bantayan Island Philippines as tourists knew it. White sand beaches, snorkeling, scuba, dinner and drinks brought to your nipa hut by an army of smiling servers. The last pic is the center of the city after the typhoon hit last week. This is where the servers, cooks, drivers, etc. lived. Utter devastation. I have never been to Bantayan but one of the lovely ladies who caters to me in another tourist spot on another island is from here and I am going to do the best I can to help her get back home with supplies and money to help the survivors. I know everyone here in America has their own problems, causes, and responsibilities. Probably more than most can handle. So maybe I will offend some of you who work your asses off to take care of those around you. But that is a risk I am willing to take here as I ask each and every one of you to lend a hand. Anyone willing to toss in a few bucks, send a check to my work address below. Send me a FB message too so I can share the info. I will match the first $500 I receive. I am sending the first Western union transfer tomorrow so if I know more donations are coming in the mail I will add to tomorrows aid. I will tag a bunch of people here too.
