The first wave of nominees for the Teen Choice Awards have been announced . . . and the shows Pretty Little Liars and Vampire Diaries lead the way with five nominees apiece. Some of the other shows that scored multiple nominations include: Glee, The Big Bang Theory, Twisted and The Fosters. For movies, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire landed four nominations, including acting nods for Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson. And for music, Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, One Direction, Nicki Minaj, Justin Timberlake, Ariana Grande, Iggy Azalea, Beyoncé and Miranda Lambert were among those nominated. A host . . . along with performers, presenters, and additional nominees . . . will be announced in the coming weeks. Fox will air The Teen Choice Awards live on Sunday, August 10th. Voting is open now at TeenChoiceAwards. Teens can vote everyday, but theyll have to sign up on their website.
