The first week of IBC is in the books, and we are off to a good start. I just finished up Jacobs programming for next week that includes a day with some tradition bro lifts like bench press and arms exercises. Officially, this week begins a 10-week programming cycle for Jacob. A warm welcome goes out to Allison Early; she CFed a bit earlier this year, but now she wants to learn and get better at the OLY lifts. She signed up for the 6-week (12 session) beginners session so she will be around throwing massive amounts of weight over her head. As always, I will be around M-Thurs this week. Im offering a free one-hour consultation to anyone who wants to get a few pointers and work on their lifts. Please shoot me a quick PM to let me know when you want to come in; I do ask that you do not do a WOD first. These lifts are very technical, and they are harder to do correctly when youre exhausted after a WOD. Two quick announcements: 1. I am open to holding sessions on weekends if the demand is there. I was asked about it at the BBQ yestereday. 2. God willing, the new Pendlay barbell and bumpers will be in next week. I will be outlining the rules for using this equipment later. I hope everyone has a good week, and I hope to see some new faces...
