The fishing is all uphill from here. We are in one of the coldest months traditionally for the year. From here the water temperature begins to rise slowly through late september - October. This is when the snapper all over the north island can be found in good sizes in renowned locations. Nows a good time get your reels re-spooled and finely tuned for the coming season. Even the best laid plans and aspirations can come undone without having the gear to match the task at hand. Photographed below are pictures from Dinahs beach in Hawkes Bay.
