The flight operations by Air India is going to stop on - TopicsExpress

The flight operations by Air India is going to stop on Silchar-Guwahati route from tomorrow. Another blow for the people of Barak Valley. Amidst of Dilapidated roads, age-old unreliable rail service, air route was a somewhat comfortable option for those who could effort it, but it also became eyesore of so called legislators. They stopped the subsidy to ATR service of Air India. Thanks to our joker leaders who opted silence this time also in this regard. These mum and shameless politicians who on every elections dares to asks for our favour to them for some garbage achievement have forgotten the meaning of self respect. These hopeless bunch of morons has done nothing for this place and keep on blaming others for stepmotherly attitude crap. This is the only place, my home town, which is the perfect example of retrogressive development. We used to cover 360 kms to Guwahati in childhood in 10 hrs, then it became 12 hrs, now it is verymuch uncertain that whether u going to reach destination safely, forget time. Its a achievement to reach home. Central projects are (east west corridor and broad gauge conversion) registered little progress over the years due to enormous political apathy. Now its time to see what the new government has in its bag for sustainable development of Barak Valley after catastrophic damage done to the place by previous and present Congress Government of centre and state.
