The flight to Ireland wasnt too bad but I can never seem to get any sleep on those incredibly long flights so I watched as many movies as I could. Saving Mr Banks, Runner Runner, American Hustle and Mandela. Our stay in Dublin was fantastic despite rain on our first day there (Sat 5 April). Sunday was a lovely warm sunny day. We played bloody tourist and took a Red hop on hop off bus. First stop was a fabulous shopping centre The Green Centre opposite a gorgeous park called St Stephens Green. Then on to the splendid Dublin Castle. The drive to Cork on Monday was really good despite some more rain. Our first night in Cork we stayed at a fabulous B&B The Belvedere Lodge I highly recommend it. Last night we stayed with a rellie and her family and had a lovely time with them. Sadly we wont get to see Cork city centre (Ill have to come back next year). Today Im driving us to Co Mayo to catch up with my lovely cousin (Edel OConnor) and her family. No doubt were in for some more splendid scenery during the four hour drive. Im just Loving Ireland
