The flood has already damaged 1,400 villages around the city of Rabwah, the worst since the 1992 flood. The most affected areas include Factory Area, Darul Nusrat, Darul Sadar, Darul Aloom, Darul Shukr, Naseerabad and Ahmad Nagar where almost 600 residential homes have been flooded. Ahmadiyya Muslim Community has already set a relief camp for the flood affected people and Majlis Khuddam ul Ahmadiyya, Rabwah is also taking part in rescue programs. The Punjab government has already declared emergency in 21 districts that are directly affected by the flood. According to the local media news, almost 156 people have lost their lives and 287 were injured. Also, 400,000 heads of cattle have been affected and 215 were killed. Rabwah is safe now, the water level has reduced, and weather conditions are favorable. Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is helping affected people by providing them with food, medicine and clean water along with repairing their houses.
