The flood we experienced in December when the pipes in the old Upstairs Gym burst has spurred on all sorts of exciting things for us. Thanks to Ryan Donn and Jeremiah, who worked through Sunday night laying the new epoxy resin kitchen floor and to our hardworking kitchen staff who took the opportunity to spring clean as it cured on Monday. We have a final coat to apply still but it should be cured in several hours and so we plan to do this without shutting the restaurant down again. Since the kitchen was down on Monday, we also did some repainting in the restaurant. Thank you, Marion Turner and Lynette Irwin for your hard work. Meanwhile, Josh Olson is hard at work recovering chairs. Look for ongoing redecoration when you visit as the spirit of Spring sprung early for us this year!
