The focus of a good workshop is building basic understanding and teaching key concepts. We are delighted to let the world know that, after the training the circumcisers and others who attended the training hearts were touched 100% on what torture they have caused to our girls during the deadly cultural practice FGM. The ladies handed over blades to our Deputy OCPD and promised never again should they involve themselves on FGM. They will be our ambassadors in the villages to teach others and bring FGM to an end. MAGRIAF would like to thank African Network for the Prevention and Protection against Child Abuse and Neglect (ANPPCAN) for funding the workshop and inviting us to be part of the team. Our sincere thanks also go to Loitokitok sub-county Deputy County Commissioner, education office, chairman Nyumba Kumi and many other for bringing change on fighting FGM, early marriage, child abuse and many other.
