The fog rolled in and blanketed our mountaintop, light raindrops - TopicsExpress

The fog rolled in and blanketed our mountaintop, light raindrops began to fall and I was blissfully working on a few of my ponies, trimming hooves and rolling around on my stool from leg to leg. Suddenly my boy Jack who has his nose beneath each hoof so that he can catch any little morsel that may fall, darted off to the front gate in full attack mode. I stood up to see what all the commotion was about and I saw that a guy was standing at our gates and trying to tell my dog to shut up while waving at me to come and let him in. As I began to walk towards the entry gates, I was sure that I did not know this guy and as I got a little closer, I could see that there was another guy still sitting in the white truck on the drivers side. The license plates said Colorado. I couldnt hear a thing he was saying, so I continued to walk towards the gates, all the while telling my dog to stop barking. To my surprise... these two dudes had a truck bed full of assorted and what appeared to be brand new tools and machinery. They had welders, generators and other items and I also noticed that everything was locked down with heavy chains. They said that they were giving it all away for free and that they needed a place to unload it. They guaranteed me that is was all legal and that if I didnt believe them, I could call the Sheriffs and they would stay there and wait. I was really taken of guard and for a moment I thought about how nice it would be to have a generator for my small LQ horse trailer. Then I thought about how Juan would love a new welder and then I quickly returned to my senses and asked them to leave. He handed me a paper with his name and number just in case I changed my mind.
