The following BS meme disproval is rather a painful one. The meme is of a mother who allegedly cured he sons cancer with Cannabis oil. This mother is allegedly facing 2 years in prison for having done so. Here are the facts... While the child has shown improvement in some of his symptoms, he is far from cured. He still has cancer and still needs treatment. The failure the meme mentions in referring to the doctors treating him is in their alleged failure to magically make the disease go away. While I still contend that a human being going to school for the better part of two decades is, in itself a miracle; no doctor is a magician who can simply wave a magic wand and make the deadly disease go away. Yes, she faces a maximum of two years in prison...so does anyone else who uses any form of marijuana for any reason in a state that has not legalized its use. What I find distasteful about the meme is its obvious intent to stir passion and outrage in those considering it. In this, it is unnecessarily emotionally manipulative. Anger wont accomplish anything in this issue. In fact, it will only make things worse.
