The following are my thoughts on major reform for policing agencies: First, all police officers should go through thorough background and physiological testing by independent agencies. Second, Any time a police officer is terminated, he could never work in that field again. Third, Mandatory drug testing to include testing for steroids. Forth, Restructured training for all police officers on how to defuse situations without the use of deadly force. Fifth, Immediate termination if a Body Camera is deactivated. Sixth, All investigations of either department or police officers would be conducted by an independent review panel. No more policing themselves. Seventh. A complete re-structure of the Grand Jury process..........This procedure obviously, would not resolve everything but it would be a huge step forward in curbing the abusive nature of what appears to be Out-of-Control policing this country.
