The following are the important people we would like to thank for the Book Launch for the book entitled “Our long Journey of Faith, last Tuesday at Fully Booked. We missed out the individual acknowledgement since we got caught up in our emotions, plus it was a first book launch for us… we were at a loss in between and the script was not followed to the letter….Please pardon us for the late acknowledgement. 1. The Cruz family : A History in relation to Miguel and the Editor and Layout Artist The Patriarch of the family, is the late Associate Justice Isagani Cruz. He was a Columnist and Writer. His only daughter Candy, is our Editor. She worked with her dad until he returned to our creator early this year. So one can imagine the training our Editor had, how capable she is in her chosen field. Thank you for having known a great man! The Matriarch Tita Sally is the best cook in town. She was, is and will always be the doting mother to her five boys and daughter. I love her kare-kare! Thank you for the times you had me in your home and served me your specialties and Anna a few times in the later years. The eldest son Cesar has been my classmate since Grade 3 in Lourdes School and is my best friend. So it follows that he became the Godfather of our dear son Miguel. Anna enjoys listening to Cesar because of his wit and humor. Thanks for those happy times spent together. There are three lawyer sons, Gani, Celso and Caloy. Caloy was with us all throughout the time when Miguel passed away and even until today for any consultation. Thank you Caloy! The last son is Claro the Restaurateur. He is married to a Maryknoll classmate of Anna,Tita Soliongco. The Vegetarian Kitchen for Vegetarian food…their resto is a place to go in the Tomas Morato area. The last but not the least, Our Editor and Lay Out Artist – Candy Cruz Datu, the only daughter and husband Tonio Datu. Thank you for coming up with the Editing and Artistic layout of the book together. Their lives paralleled our lives in a lot of instances as we shared our lives with each other. They both were also so inspired and even with time constraint they came up with a well organized flow of the story of our lives and a very beautiful meaningful cover taken from the sharing of experiences. There is no other who could have done a better job. They both did a superb job! Our thanks to Candy and Tonio! We highly recommend this couple for anyone who needs an Editor and a Layout Artist for they work so well together! This is an unusual set up to have a husband and wife team yet they are the best combination! We had our FAITH in them the moment we met them. When the Lord chooses, He chooses the best!
