The following dogs are all in the WOOF Program and will graduate in mid-July. (Inmates at Lowell Correctional Institution are training them under the supervision of a dog trainer.) They are available for adoption. They are being trained to receive a Canine Good Citizen Award and by the end of the program will all have learned: sit, down, stay, wait, come when called, and a lot more. Pictures are in order that they are listed. Captain America aka Cap: He is an absolutely beautiful seven month old Whippet Mix pup currently in the WOOF program He is a very social boy, loves to be loved and gives love back double the amount. Rocket is a one year old Pomeranian Mix, he is very playful and his enthusiasm is infectious. Rocket has great manners and happily learns and performs obedience commands as quickly as they are taught to him. Rocket aims to please. He can be a little timid at times, but trust readily. He will do well with any loving person or family. Hulk is a three year old Plott Hound Mix. He is very laid back and sweet. By the end of his eight weeks at He has already captured our hearts and will make a good addition to any family. Rogue is a one year old terrier mix. She is a good girl who loves to be loved. She would be best with older well-mannered kids who would play with her a lot. She gets along with dogs, but she does play rough so another dog that understands the way she plays will be best. It takes her a little while to trust but one she does all she will do is hug and kiss you.
