The following images are from one model run from the Euro model. Remember, these are only images from a single model run and can not be taken as a forecast. However, since it is displaying a winter mix/snow, its worth highlighting it as a potential weather problem developing for Monday the 26th through Wednesday the 28th. (More details below image descriptions) Image One: Late Monday night and early Tuesday morning expected precipitation types. Image Two: Late Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning expected precipitation types. Image Three: Snowfall totals expected between now and Jan 30. These images should not be taken as a forecast, instead they should only represent a sort of look into a fuzzy, somewhat distant, weather future. In other words, this wintery mix and/or snow, might not happen at all. On the other hand, there is a chance that this event is currently being downplayed by this model, as well as the other models I have seen recently. Speaking to that, these images represent the Euro model. Ive seen other model runs from the GFS where snow seems to be represented more significantly than it is in the Euro. The point here is, these models are an imperfect way to predict the future of weather... however they can give us some insight into the possibilities. Another thing to consider is that this far out the actual timing of all things is liable to change some. Occasionally this swing from the timing expected to what actually occurs can be several hours, or an entire day. So for now (this far out), take the references to particular days as the center of a generalization regarding timing.
