The following is activity information for the Spring City Police Department, week ending January 25, 2015. ARRESTS -1/20/2015 at 0044 hours, Riverside Drive and E. Bridge Street A 25 year old man from Spring City was arrested for Public Drunkeness. An officer on patrol observed the subject stumbling through the parking lot of Burger King and conducted a field interview. A PBT administered on-scene indicated the subject had a BAC of .251%. The subject was cited and released to a responsible party. -1/22/2015 at 1240 hours, E. Bridge Street and N. Main Street A 31 year old man from Royersford was arrested for Possession of Controlled Substances, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and traffic offenses. An officer on patrol initiated a traffic stop of the vehicle for traffic violations and the operator was found to have a suspended driver’s license. Subsequent investigation revealed the presence of illegal narcotics and paraphernalia in the vehicle. The defendant was processed and released pending a future court date. -1/23/2015 at 1142 hours, Yost Avenue and N. Main Street A 28 year old man from Spring City was arrested for Possession of Controlled Substances, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and traffic offenses. An officer on patrol initiated a traffic stop of the vehicle for traffic violations and the operator was found to have a suspended driver’s license. Subsequent investigation revealed the presence of illegal narcotics and paraphernalia in the vehicle. The defendant was processed and released pending a future court date. NOTABLE POLICE ACTIVITY Theft from Auto reports were received from the unit block of N. Main Street and the unit block of S. Main Street. No reports received involved forced entry.
