The following is an excerpt from a discussion on the Strava Spark Cycling message board in regards to a Strava claiming that Bobby Nash has an average speed of 54mph this week in the January Resolution Challenge: These baseless accusations of motors and magnets are BS. There was a time, a time before Strava. When the local Mtb racer reigned supreme. When people believed everything they heard at the shop. This was an age when only men were allowed to race. And in East Taunton, one rider was more man then the rest. His name was The Bobby Nash. He was like a god riding amongst mere mortals. He had a voice that could make a wolverine purr and kits so fine they made Sinatra look like a hobo. In other words, THE BOBBY NASH WAS THE BALLS. Legend also has it 54 mph is his recovery pace.
