The following is from the Prologue for my current work Jewels In The Mud........... Thanks for asking. Hey! Looks like I will never get to retire! Not sure that I would want to! I not only include a Glossary in this story, I also include Bibliography of 130 books! .............Though I wrote of my experiences in my autobiography, From Tragedy To Triumph. Journey Back From The Edge, I did not place too much emphasis on the metaphysical aspect of my recovery. There was so much else to write about! For example, my knowledge of everyday things and events was totally limited. But suddenly a whole new world opened its doors to me when I began to think for myself without the constraint of conventional dogmas. In time it would be made clear that I had not experienced such a world before my injury. In order to learn new words for conversational purposes, the dictionary became my best friend. I became fascinated with several words that related to Theology and the Paranormal, subjects only of peripheral interest to me previously. This led me to reading hundreds of books as well as several Roman Catholic Encyclopedias, having long discussions with some Roman Catholic priests (one of which worked at the Vatican prior to his excommunication) as well as doing intensive research on the paranormal in general. (‘para’ means ‘beyond’) What interested me a great deal was the subject matter regarding the Divinity of mankind and our strong connection with universal powers. (The word ‘Divinity’ means ‘The Divine presence of God in mankind’) I also felt encouraged to study the etymology (origin) of many biblical wordings in different bibles. I researched the teachings of several organized religions, past and present, while realizing that hidden biblical connotations were strongly linked with the Paranormal and its metaphysical impact on human beings. Vatican literature housed at the library in the lovely town of Ryde, Isle of Wight, U K, where I once resided, led me to understand the word life means supernatural. In other words, because we have life, we are supernatural beings. Does this mean we are capable of supernatural powers? So much of the metaphysical aspect of mankinds nature is overlooked. So much so, it should be investigated on a more intensive scale. I guess what surprised me most was in establishing the word Theology. According to Vatican literature, it simply means the science of the supernatural. Its counterpart is called Theurgy. In the past, Theology referred to talking about God, whereas Theurgy (From the Greek word, θεουργία) which referred to ‘invoking the action of God, or other personified supernatural power’. In other words, tapping into the energies generated from the Source Vibration. The exact history of the word God is unknown. This word was never used in any of the ancient Judaeo-Christian scripture manuscripts that were written in Hebrew, Aramaic, Greek or Latin. The root of the present word God is the Sanskrit word hu which means to call upon, invoke, implore. The earliest reference to the Creator was Y H V H, from which Yahweh derived. Y H V H derives from the Hebrew verb to be (hayah) and indicates God transcendence as the Source of all that is………..
