The following paragraph is an excerpt from a previous post. By looking through all of the images as stated and seeing the similarities between the various types of galaxies and the progression of how these galaxies develop and mature, we also throw some light on other features that have been shrouded in mystery and intrigue previously. We can readily accept how the jets flow out from the centre of spiral galaxies at right angles above and below the plane of the spiral, tracking along the path of the narrow funnel of weaker gravitational force or influence in accordance with the explanation outlined in the post before the previous one. We know also that gas under pressure will escape along paths of least resistance. The process whereby jets emanate from elliptical galaxies was previously more difficult to unravel however now after seeing the similarities we can appreciate that the same process may apply here also. Even though we see a large number of elliptical galaxies as opaque and uniformly colored yellow structures, the original spiral with a large proportion of the stars in the plane of the spiral may still lie within the centre of the ellipse. Some of the elliptical galaxies that are not uniformly colored provide us with the clue that this may be happening. We see similarities between the spiral galaxies & the lenticular galaxies, the lenticular galaxies & the elliptical galaxies and also between the galaxy bulge images & the lenticular & elliptical galaxies images. We even see a progression of how these galaxies develop and mature over the life span of the universe’.
