O’Malley, OFM Cap., has accepted the resignation of Rev. Timothy J. Murphy as Pastor at Immaculate Conception Parish in Salem. The cardinal has also granted Father Murphy Senior Priest/Retirement status. The effective date of these actions was June 4, 2013. Cardinal Seán P. O’Malley, OFM Cap., has accepted the resignation of Rev. William F. Salmon as Pastor at Immaculate Conception Parish in Weymouth. O’Malley, OFM Cap., has accepted the resignation of Rev. Richard C. Conway as Parochial Vicar at Holy Family Parish in Dorchester, St. Peter Parish in Dorchester, and Blessed Mother Teresa Parish in Dorchester. The cardinal has also granted Father Conway Senior Priest/Retirement status. The effective date of these actions was June 4, 2013. Cardinal Seán P. O’Malley, OFM Cap., has accepted the resignation of Rev. George J. Dufour as Pastor at St. Anne Parish in Salem. The cardinal has also granted Father Dufour Senior Priest/Retirement status. The effective date of these actions was June 4, 2013. Cardinal Seán P. O’Malley, OFM Cap., has ended the assignment of Rev. Msgr. John R. McLaughlin as Director of the Catholic Center and Priest-Campus Minister at Boston University and appointed him as Director of Spiritual Formation at St. John’s Seminary. Barnes as Pastor at St. Mary Star of the Sea Parish in Beverly and as Administrator at St. Margaret Parish in Beverly and has appointed him as Director of the Catholic Center and Priest-Campus Minister at Boston University.
