The following were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department during the last reporting period beginning 06/25/2013: Gregory Bell, 40 years of age, Address-Bush Street Morgan City, Louisiana was arrested on 06/25/2013 @ 8:52pm Officers patrolling the Wyandotte area observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on Highway 182. Officers stopped the vehicle near the 8000 block of Highway 182. The driver, identified as Gregory Bell could not produce a valid drivers license. During the traffic stop, Bell allegedly attempted to flee from the officer. Officers gave foot chase and eventually subdued and detained the subject utilizing a Taser. The subject was found to be in possession of approximately 40 grams of suspected Synthetic Cannabinoids in individual packets. The Schedule I CDS was secured for evidence. The subject, Gregory Bell was arrested, cuffed and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked on the charges of: Possession of Schedule I CDS-Synthetic Cannabinoids with the Intent to Distribute; Resisting an Officer, No Drivers License, Speeding. He remains incarcerated.
