The forestry debate in Tasmania is a total con that ignores the evidence.What this should be about is evidence.Forestry is great if you put aside the wasteful sector of wood chips from old growth forests.The absurdity is, if you stopped logging old growth forests for wood chips, the fall in supply would raise the price to enable planted plantations to become more viable.The world would benefit from a united front on this & this sort of intelligent farming would have a huge positive environmental magnifier effect.
