The former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs and a frontline People’s Democratic Party (PDP) governorship aspirant in Delta State, Elder Godsday Peter Orubebe at the weekend promised to engage the youths in meaningful programmes if elected governor in 2015. Orubebe who was on a campaign tour of the state according to a statement issued in Abuja by his campaign team and made available to newsmen, promised to provide meaningful economic engagement and empowerment activities for the teeming youths and women in the state as a way of meaningful commitment. The former minister emphasized that wealth creation through economic rendezvous and empowerment activities would be his cardinal programmes if elected.
