The founder of the National Alliance, William Luther Pierce was a member of the John Birch Society and author of The Turner Diaries and Hunter, both novels about a white revolution in America, which he wrote under the pen name Andrew MacDonald. Copies of the Turner Diaries were found in the car of Timothy McVeigh, which he said were the inspiration for his bombing the Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City, killing men, women, and children as well in a day care center in the building for the employees. He did the bombing in the desire to ignite a real race war. Revilo P. Oliver, a founding member of the board of the National Alliance, was also a founding member of the John Birch Society and was a large influence on Pierce. Readers of the book Wrapped in the Flag, by Claire Conner Mork, know how much of a racist Oliver was. Yet NC 3rd District Congressman Walter Jones Jr. and Senator Rand Paul and his father Ron Paul support and are supported by the John Birch Society. One other thing. Fred Koch, father of David and Charles Koch AKA the Koch Brothers who founded Americans For Prosperity and other groups, was also a high ranking founding member of the John Birch Society. cbsnews/news/senate-candidate-creates-firestorm-with-anti-semitic-campaign/ en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Alliance_(United_States) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Luther_Pierce en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timothy_McVeigh en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Revilo_P._Oliver en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fred_C._Koch
