The freely elected president of South Vietnam was assassinated by the CIA in Saigon in 1963. They blew his head off in the back of a jeep with a 45. NO leader in South Vietnam after that ever stood for election and ALL of them were Romana Catholic where 90% of South Vietnam was Buddhist. The PEOPLE hated their appointed government. Sure, the US has set up lots of NON-democracy governments. Shah or Iran, Chiles Allede and Saddam. We support tyranny and become we our own worst enemy.
