The future of Luis Suarez continues to be discussed in-depth in the Spanish press, on an almost hourly basis. A new report in Marca on Sunday morningsuggests that Liverpool will play hardball over Suarez and that neither side has changed their position much despitethat biteon Giorgio Chiellini and the subsequent four month ban from FIFA. The Madrid-based paper suggest that Liverpool will not sell for any lower than they would have now, despite the fact Suarez wants to leave England and is keen to move to Barcelona away from England. Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers, unsurprisingly after a terrific season, does not want to lose his star striker. John W Henry, Liverpool’s owner meanwhile, will accept 85 million euros, the same fee Barcelona were quoted before the World Cup. Marca add that Barcelona and Liverpool will intensify their negotiations over Suarez in the coming week with Barcelona coach Luis Enrique keen to sign the Uruguayan striker. It looks likely that Barcelona will offer players in exchange first, to lower the 85 million euro fee, with Alexis Sanchez the most viable option for Liverpool. A7
