The general public is informed that due to demolition drive to be carried by the Chandigarh Administration in Colony No.5, Chandigarh, the traffic plying on the following roads will be closed on 20.11.2013:- 1. Road leading from Sector-45/46/49/50 Light Point towards Mataur Chowk(Sector-43/44/51/52 Chowk). 2. Road leading from Mataur Chowk (Sector-43/44/51/52 Chowk) towards Sector-45/46/49/50 Light Point. 3. Road leading from Sector-44/45/50/51 (Colony No.5 Light Point) towards Burail Jail Roundabout. 4. Road leading from Burail Jail Roundabout towards Sector-44/45/50/51 (Colony No.5 Light Point). 5. The V-5 road near Housing Board Colony Sector 51A-Indian Society Sector 51B. 6. Exit Gate No-2 of Progressive Society Sector-50. 7. Entry/Exit Gate Chief Auditors Housing Society Sector-50. The residential of Housing Board Colony Sector 51A & Indian Society Sector 51B are advised to use the V-5 Road leading towards Sector 51/52 Light Point. The road users coming from Phase -9 Mohali towards Sector 50/51, they are allowed to take new road in front of YPS School towards YPS Chowk and to avoid the Sector 50/51 Dividing Road. No traffic will be allowed on old Jail Road Colony No.5. No access will be given towards to Sector-50/51 Chowk to Colony No.5 Light Point. For ISBT Sec-43, the buses will be plying on the Dakshin Marg i.e. Tribune Chowk to Kissan Bhawan and left to ISBT-43. Only emergency vehicles and patient carrying in the private vehicle will only be allowed to take access on these roads. Please adopt another alternative route.
