They turn mere government appointees to demigods and worship them with their alls. These are the people who would meet you with whirlpool of outrages and rants if you dare criticizes their impeccable umpires A logical look at the myriad agricultural resources of the municipal, the problem of basic social amenities like roads, water,hospitals, schools and hosts of others should have not been our worries. There are a lot of warped thinkers and clueless individuals occupying very sensitive positions and titles. The discriminate appalling ways and manners by which appointments are made is legendary. The infamous FAWOTUBEGE means of recruitment is a strong attributes of some leaders. Political and family favors are also a normal routine for job appointments. Recently an online site rated the municipal second to none to have chunk of its appointees and office holders contributing insignificantly both on paper and practically to building the municipal. A leader works with a team therefore if the team is impoverished and lacking, automatically it will render the leader goal less. We have suffered a lot as a people, we have been wasting scarce time debating issues that prevents us from carrying out even the most basic function of democracy, engaging on issues that is akin to biting our own fathers genitals. As for me, I wont join the multitude who waxes lyrical hymns at the current MCE but the his accessibility and availability I think it is a symbolic of his readiness to somehow change the fortunes of our banana republic to singapore economy at his present elevated position. What we need is an acute revolution at the Assembly. Reckless spending, incompetence, absenteeisms, misplaced priorities, immorality are the order of the day.
