The gift of God is eternal life! Many of us have receive this - TopicsExpress

The gift of God is eternal life! Many of us have receive this gift, but we have hoarded the gift as if there is no one to share it with. We must never forget what Jesus said in Luke 13, Except ye repent, ye shall likewise perish. It is not Gods will that anyone should perish, but he has said that if a person doesnt repent they will perish, and he is not a man that he should lie. So, what about your mother, your father, your brother, your sister; have you told them about Jesus Christ? Some people are in the company of their siblings and parents very often but not once have they part their lips to make Jesus known to them. First, Jesus said, if you love your mother, father, brother, sister, or even your own life more than me, youre not worthy to even take up your own cross to follow me. Well, can you say without a shadow of a doubt that you are a follower of Jesus Christ? Secondly, Jesus said, do not think that I come to bring peace, but a sword, dividing father against son, mother against daughter, father-n-law against son-n-law, daughter-n-law against mother-n-law; your greatest enemies shall be members of your own household. Perhaps it because you cherish your family more than you cherish your relationship with the Lord. If this is true, you dont have much of a relationship with the Lord. See, if we are ashamed of him, he has said that he will be ashamed of us. He goes further to say, if we will not acknowledge him before men, he will not acknowledge us when he comes in the glory of the Father and of the angels. Can we lose anything greater than our very soul? Of course not! However, we will lose our soul if we love anything or anyone above God. Besides, do we really love our mother, father, brother, or sister, if we refuse to speak about Jesus when were in their presence? For what other reason do we deal with our unsaved loved ones than to let our light shine before them that they might see our good works and glorify our Father? Light certainly can have fellowship with darkness, and believers certainly do not have anything in common with unbelievers. Yes, Jesus ate with sinners, but not to act like them, but to sprinkle salt on them. He recognized their need for a spiritual physicians so he hoped for the opportunity to heal some of them. DONT BE GUILTY OF PREACHING TO EVERYBODY ELSE, BUT FAMILY. They cant enter in because you know the Lord. They must repent or they too, will perish. Yep! Its just that serious.
